Urban Paddle will be the only comprehensive source for award-winning restaurants, hotels and other local places. We include each winner of a significant international, national, and local award for the past three years–including Michelin, Forbes' Travel Guide, the James Beard Foundation, and The World's 100 Best Restaurants.
It's not about luxury. It's about authenticity. Find out which local butcher won the Meilleur Ouvrier, added the hotel that received a Pritzker architectural award, and found where the world's greatest bartender serves drinks.
But, that's not enough...
Sometimes awards overlook local gems. Urban Paddle gathers local experts (e.g. artists, journalist, chefs, writers, civic leaders) to identify places that can't be found anywhere else.
We encourage users to participate and debate our choices. The result is the Urban Paddle Awards: a short list of essential spots for new visitors and long-time residents.
The world's best places are connected. A farm that supplies a Michelin-starred restaurant works with several other excellent and often lesser-known eateries.
Urban Paddle maps and makes suggestions based on the relationships between world-class places and people, including where world-class chefs have worked before, trained others and sourced their ingredients.
Urban Paddle is currently in private beta. After rigorous testing and feedback, we will be expanding to new cities with lodging and activities.
